Building inspections for home purchases

When you're looking to buy a home, you want to be sure everything is in order. Is there something wrong with the property and will you face costs, such as repairs, in the near future? You'll want to know before you make an offer. Homekeur gives you certainty about the structural condition of your home. We inspect everything from roof to crawl space and prepare a report for you incorporating all our findings. Naturally, we also offer advice and cost estimates, ensuring complete clarity.

NHG building reports

A mortgage with NHG (National Mortgage Guarantee), also known as the National Mortgage Guarantee, isn't always possible if a building survey isn't available. In certain cases, a building survey is mandatory. A valuer can recommend this survey, but the requirement also arises, for example, when more than 10 percent of the property's value is due to deferred maintenance. Homekeur conducts a full and comprehensive inspection, after which our professionals can prepare a building survey report .

An energy label for your home

Since January 1, 2021, an energy label has been mandatory for renting or selling a home. The energy label clearly shows the energy efficiency of a property. The better the energy label, the higher the property's value. One of the goals of the energy label is to encourage homeowners to take measures to optimize their homes' sustainability. An energy label is valid for 10 years. If you would like to apply for an energy label for your home, certified advisors through Homekeur are available to assist you.

Energy label for commercial buildings

Commercial buildings also require an energy label in several situations. For example, all office buildings in the Netherlands must have at least an energy label C from 2023 onwards. Determining an energy label for commercial buildings is different from determining an energy label for a home. Only EPA-U consultants are authorized to determine an energy label for commercial buildings. Homekeur consultants are authorized to draw up an energy label for commercial buildings.
