How much does an energy label for your home cost?
To draw up an energy label, you pay Homekeur €349 including VAT for homes up to 190 m².
Is the property larger? Then we charge €0.65 per additional square meter.
The price is all-inclusive: inspection, registration in EP-online, and delivery of the official label. You will receive the energy label within three business days.

You will receive the energy label within three business days of the inspection. It will be registered immediately in EP-online, the government's national database.
When do I need an energy label?
An energy label is mandatory for the sale, rental, or delivery of a property. The label must be available when you publish an advertisement. Don't have an energy label yet? Request one in time to avoid problems during the transfer.
What does an energy label show?
The energy label shows how energy-efficient a home is, on a scale from A++++ (very efficient) to G (very inefficient). The label also provides insight into possible improvement measures, such as insulation or installing solar panels.
What is checked during the inspection?
Our inspector will look at, among other things:
- The insulation of roof, facade and floor
- Type of glazing and frames
- Heating system, ventilation and possibly cooling
- Year of construction and type of home
- Any solar panels or other sustainable measures
This information is processed according to the official NTA 8800 methodology.
Do I need to prepare anything for the inspection myself?
No, we'll take care of everything. Do you have construction drawings, insulation invoices, or information about your solar panels? Feel free to bring them along so we can get the most complete picture of your home.
Is an energy label also mandatory for apartments?
Yes, an energy label is also required when selling or renting an apartment. Note: the label is determined per apartment, not per building. The location within the building (e.g., corner or upstairs apartment) affects the score.
What if my energy label is unfavorable?
You'll always receive advice on improvements. Think of floor insulation, HR++ glass, or a more efficient heating system. This can help you improve your energy label and save on your energy costs.
How long is an energy label valid?
An energy label for homes is valid for 10 years from the registration date. If your home undergoes significant changes (for example, due to insulation or a heat pump), you can apply for a new label.
Can I also apply for the energy label without an inspection?
No. Since 2021, a physical inspection by a certified energy consultant has been mandatory. Online labels without an inspection are no longer permitted.
