What is an energy label?

An energy label shows how energy-efficient your home is compared to other homes. It ranges from A (very efficient) to G (very inefficient). Since January 1, 2021, an energy label has been mandatory for all home sales or rentals.

Not only is it now a legal requirement, the label also helps you understand where energy loss occurs and what improvements you can make (such as insulation or more energy-efficient installations).

Easily request an energy label for your home

The cost of an energy label (up to 190 m²) is only €349 including VAT. A certified energy advisor will visit you, inspect the property, and officially register the energy label in EP-online.
