What is the definition of an energy-efficient home?

In the face of soaring energy prices, optimizing your home's energy efficiency is not just beneficial for your wallet but also enhances comfort and property value. By understanding the key steps to achieving a sustainable home, such as improving insulation or upgrading heating systems, you can significantly reduce energy consumption and secure a more favorable energy label, paving the way for both immediate savings and long-term investment gains.

We all want to live as energy-efficiently as possible, especially now that energy prices are high. For many, costs will be kept under control to some extent in 2023 by the energy ceiling, but for now, that only applies for this year. Unfortunately, we can't predict the future, especially when it comes to energy prices.

It's therefore wise to ensure your home is optimally energy-efficient. If you've made your home more sustainable, you can apply for a more positive energy rating from Homekeur. We're happy to provide you with more insight into what constitutes an energy-efficient home.

Easily request an energy label for your home

The cost of an energy label (up to 190 m²) is only €349 including VAT. A certified energy advisor will visit you, inspect the property, and officially register the energy label in EP-online. If the property is larger than 190 m², we charge €0.65 per additional square meter. Do you have any questions? We're happy to help and, if desired, can schedule an appointment with a certified advisor right away!
