Whether you're selling, renting, or simply want to know how energy-efficient your home is, the energy label plays a crucial role. In the video "Applying for an Energy Label for Your Home at Homekeur," Homekeur explains step-by-step what an energy label is, why you need one, and how to apply for one.

What is an energy label?

An energy label shows how energy-efficient your home is compared to other homes. It ranges from A (very efficient) to G (very inefficient). Since January 1, 2021, an energy label has been mandatory for all home sales or rentals.

Not only is it now a legal requirement, the label also helps you understand where energy loss occurs and what improvements you can make (such as insulation or more energy-efficient installations).

Why apply for an energy label?

An energy label is not only mandatory for sales or rentals, but it also provides you with valuable insights:

🌡️ Insight into the energy performance of your home

💡 Tips for energy saving and comfort

📈 Better market position when selling or renting

📄 Comply with the legal requirements of the National Government

A valid and official label also prevents possible fines and uncertainty during transfer.

The cost of an energy label (up to 190 m²) is only €349 including VAT. A certified energy advisor will visit you, inspect the property, and officially register the energy label in EP-online.
